Updated IOS for my iphone 3gs and now none of my songs will play

Did you happen to update to iOS 5? Because since the update. Mine has been the same way. The volume is very low. and sometimes even the speaker isn't too loud either unless I'm playing music.

If you did not update to iOS 5. Then your speaker might be blocked and easily cleaned with a cotton swab, or the speaker is just old and going out.

I have this exact same problem... audio I loaded on through itunes play perfectly... songs, audiobooks, podcasts, etc, as well as input from my TV and the build in FM radio, but anytime you try to use any 3rd party radio app on the iphone, you get like 2 seconds of audio and then nothing, and the app usually has some text that says, "No Volume Available".
From research, it seems that the iLive company is to blame as they did not update the firmware to work correctly with iOS 4, so it is their problem and not the iPhone. I am returning my device and getting another brand that supports iOS 4
