Question about Bissell 7901-1 ProHeat Scotchgard Upright Wet/Dry Vacuum
When I turn on the cleaner the brushes rotate but when I pull the water trigger nothing happens. Water doen't come out the bottom of it, and when you hook the hose up water doesn't come out of it either. What can I do?
The flat belt on you machine has an access panel to it from the side of the machine. That belt runs the pump if it is broken or came off the machine won't pump.
Check to make sure both of the red/black circular rubber gaskets on either solution or recovery tank are on the tanks and not stuck down inside the inlet valves on the machine itself.
Make sure there is fluid in both tanks. Without fluid in both tanks the pump loses prime and will not work.
If all that checks out then you are down replacing the pump, but usually when the pump goes out, you will have a short burst of water when you first turn it on and then it stops working.
Hope that helps you out-Good Luck
