Do a search for download "MPTOOL for canon" you will find several
places for download. If technically minded you can remove covers and
remove and clean the waste absorber pads underneath the print engine,
also while stripped clean the timer strip gently also clean the docking
station and lubricate with white lubricating grease (DO NOT get grease
on the little rubber pads) Re-assemble and run MPtool. IMPORTANT these
codes display for a reason although sometimes a little sooner than
expected on some of the models I have seen where the pads are not all
that dirty having said it also depends on the type of printing one does.
all the best
