ERROR CODE ON MITA DC1205

I WAS MAKING COPIES ON MY MITA DC-1205 AND IN THE MIDDLEOF IT, I HERD A LOUD CLLANK AND ERROR CODE C3 SHOWED UP AND IT STOPPED.

    this a gaer (clutch) that connected the pulley system & the main motor  together .so the scaning w ill stop at a position. open the back cover, you see the white gaer with pulley which control the scaning system.replace the gear

MITA copier DC-2360, error code C610, fuser replaced. How to reset the error ?


IF you have corrected the problem that caused the C610 (broken fixing heater wire), then the error is cleared by turning the machine power switch off then back on.

You might have a broken transfer charger wire or shorted out corona blocks, It is the piece that sits underneath of the drum

Most likely it is a bad drum cleaning blade. It will need to be replaced. This machine is old...good luck.

Mita photocopier DC 1205 won't turn on


That's a very old machine, most likely the power supply is cooked. I know I replaced a lot of them back in the day. A machine at that age, and capablility, is much cheaper to replace than repair these days

Mita error code


I think that stands for OPEN. Check to make sure that all the doors are closed. Right side, left side door, and also front door.

Mita DC-1205 Copier


Open the front door... on the right is your toner. It is a cartridge that inserts long-ways (front to rear) into the machine, and should be white or ivory in color. DO NOT remove the old toner cartridge without having a replacement on hand. The new cartridge will have a plastic "cover" on it that assists in releasing the toner cartridge locking tab, and "seal" the old cartridge as you remove it from the copier. The cartridge opening is face down upon installation into the machine, and you may get some spillage if you remove it without the cover. DO NOT remove the new cartridges mylar seal until AFTER you install it in the machine!!! There should be a picture label inside the front cover showing how to replace the cartridge. And there is a pictorial diagram on each new toner cartridge box also detailing this.
Use only MITA DC 1205/1255/1415/1435/1455 toner, OEM #MTA37041013. Should run you about $12-$14 per cartridge retail, or cheaper if shopping around (I sell them for $11.99). Do not use copystar brand for the same equipment. Although it's the same toner, the shape of the cartridge is slightly altered, and may not "fit" into the machine. I forget how it goes, either Copystar will work in Mita, and not the other way around, or vice-versa. Either way, better safe than sorry.
