Unit went dead and then replugged in and then worked...

I turned my computer off on Friday, came back on Monday to turn it onand no power. Thought it was puter but found the ups unit not working. It was dead. I pressed the on button and it beeped at me and the lightflashed on and then went out not power.
Unplugged from outlet and replugged in and now power. Walked away cameback, and no power dead again. I do not believe the unit is 3 years oldyet. Do I have a bad unit?
It has never done this before.

It would appear that you need to replace the battery on this unit
You could get a new battery from a local battery specialty store like Batteries Plus or Interstate Battery, or online at www.replacementupsbattery.com. A new battery would be about $30. If you took your old battery there, they could recycle your old one, as well as match it up with the correct one you would need (HR9-12 battery).
We have a 3 year warranty on all our battery back up units. If you have any questions, you could contact us here at CyberPower Systems Technical Support at 877-297-6937, M-F 8-5Cent., or email us at [email protected]

My GPS cannot detect the satellite signal.

Garmin says:

If your GPSMAP 60CSx will not acquire a satellite signal when outside with a clear view of the sky, please try the following:
  1. Click here http://garmin.com/products/webupdater/howtoinstall.jsp
  2. Follow the onscreen instructions to install and update your unit
  3. Once updated allow for the device to set free from obstructions for 20 minutes to acquire satellites
If this does not work then we suggest doing a master reset with your device - Note: A master reset will erase all waypoints or favorites and will restore your device to the default factory settings. To perform the master reset please do the following:

  1. Turn the device OFF
  2. Press and hold Quit + Menu + Out + Power
  3. The device screen will then flash and will power on
  4. Leave the device turned ON with a clear view of the sky without moving it for approximately 30 minutes so that it may acquire satellites

If still unable to acquire satellites, contact Garmin Customer Support via one of the methods below:

Nuvi is dead, it will not turn on, even when plugged in.

The battery may be fully discharged. Once the battery has fallen belowa certain level, it will not be possible to recharge via the caradapter. Instead, the GPS should be connected via USB cable to acomputer for 8 or more hours to charge the battery. Disregard anymissing driver messages, as the computer will provide the voltagerequired to charge (regardless of drivers present or not).

Oncecharged, the car charger should be able to keep the battery charged -unless allowed to become fully discharged again. Repeat USB charging asneeded.

I have garmin nuvi 750 my battery is dead. How do

Are you sure it's dead? Often times, if the battery is allowed to become completely depleted, it will not accept a charge via cigar charger. Connect the GPS overnight to your computer via the USB cable, then see if the battery took the charge. If by chance the battery will no longer accept a charge, contact Garmin Customer Support below:

Cannot go beyond Garmin first page

It sounds like battery needs to be recharged. Try connecting a USB cable between the nuvi and your computer overnight to fully charge the battery. After, you should use the car charger to keep it charged.

When i turn the power on the green power supply light goes out and doesnt turn onand the computer wont turn on

Follow these:
  1. Unplug the computer.
  2. Disconnect the power supply from the motherboard and all other accessories.
  3. Replug the power supply.
  4. Connect the green wire (PSON) of the power supply by way of a jumper wire to any black wire (ground).
  5. The power supply should turn on with its fan. If not, it is defective and should be replaced.
  6. Check the ATX12V connector of your motherboard. It is were you removed the 4-wire, 2 yellow and 2 black, connector of the power supply. Check the continuity of the yellow wires to the black ones. It should be open, otherwise it is shorted and your processor is defective and should be replaced.

Gps need a pin unlocked code

Unfortunately, even if you perform master reset on Garmin GPS unit, it does not reset Garmin Lock security feature, which password-protect most Garmin electronic devices to deter theft. If you forget the PIN or password unlock code to unlock the Garmin unit, the best solution is to bring it to Garmin to get unlocked. “Secure Location” does not unlock a locked Garmin unit either as it’s only a temporary fix as when it’s turn on outside the security location, the device is locked again."

So unfortunately, there is only one option: You have to send your nüvi into the Garmin, who can unlock it. Remember original receipt.
