If the card is an nvidia chipset, go into advanced options and try to force detect a TV. the tv must be connected though, and turned on. also try downloading the newest drivers from the company.

If the PC boots without the video card, then it has an onboard card. Try checking BIOS and make sure display is set to onboard card. It is a good chance the drivers are already loaded. Even if they are not you should default display settings, Like 256 colors and 800x600 resolution.

How did you get your drivers and graphics? Did you install the whole package? What is the Asus model #? How much Ram do you have? I'm going to do a little research but let me know what you have.

How can i run my program on tv out which is running on my pc same to same as powerpoint show and tv play both at time.??

I assume you already have a cable (s-video) connecting your tv to the video card, on windows video settings you can select the clone mode that mode make the both screen display the same. on windows xp use right click on the screen select proprieties and on the last tab set the desire configuration you can extend or clone, use clone. on windows vista or 7 just use the shortcut WIN + P and use the duplicate mode.
For that normally you but boot your pc wit the video cable already connected.
After doing all you can set the proper resolution and configuration of the additional screen on the display properties.

Can I install new video in my laptop?!!! My compaq presario CQ60 209 tu has integreted video card GMA 4500M. how is it possible? Someone on this site told me to replace my video card!!!

Video cards on laptops are on the motherboard, therefore it is not possible to change the video card, also there are not expansion slots for inserting a graphics card.
The video card usually uses shared memory ie. uses part of the main memory. It is possible to upgrade with more main memory and increase the available video RAM in the BIOS configuration.

By connecting external display through hdmi port from my laptop, can i play demanding games!if yes then give some examples! specs....... compaq presario cq60 209TU, it has Intel(R) Graphic Media...

You wont be able to play a "demanding" game on any integrated graphics chip. While you may be able to start the game and load into it, it will be unplayable, or a painful experience at low resolution at best. I play World of warcraft, which isnt very taxing on a system, unless you put settings on ultra and high shadows. I can play it on my laptop with the same chipset that you have, but i am forced to play at the lowest resolution, and turn all settings to off/lowest, and it still only gives me 20ish frames per second. Ideally you would want to never dip below 30 to be playable As far as the HDMI port, that is just how the video signal is being sent after leaving the video card/chip. Even with the HDMI, your lack of dedicated graphics will be your limiting factor, and will not get any better by sending it through HDMI.

The motherboard in this computer has an 8X AGP expansion slot. You can use any video card you like as long as it is designed for an AGP socket.

Primary display issue

Hello,

Try going to Windows Safe Mode. You do this by pressing the F8 key repeatedly exactly after you hear your computer beep when it is rebooting. This should bring you to a screen that will have 3 Safe Modes listed, choose just plain Safe Mode by using your arrow keys to highlight Safe Mode and press enter. Once in Safe Mode, a box will come up asking you if you intended to enter Safe Mode, click Yes. You should now see your desktop, however it will look larger, and with less colors. This is normal.

If this mode did not allow you to get into windows, then reboot, press F8 like before and select Enable VGA Mode instead.

Now that you hopefully have a desktop, try this link which will take you to a video that will walk you through the process of setting up your DualView monitors. Also, note that there are some check boxes that allow you to select which monitor you want to be the primary.

I realize this video is specific Windows 2000, but the process is the same for Windows XP.

Hope this helps and Good luck!
