Question about Rosen CV7080D Portable DVD Player
Any way to get two stuck DVD's out of my system? My two year old was being helpful and stuck two disks in at the same time. System won't eject.
I had the same problem... my DVD took one in even though it already had one in there... Tweezers did not work until we used a pie server covered in masking tape with the DVD attempting to eject and then grabbed one DVD out. The DVD player works too!

I had the same problem and read on another site to use needle nose tweezers. worked like a charm, only took about 5 mins to get them both out...someone also suggests trying a putty knife with tape wrapped around it.
my dvd player still works great and both dvds work too.

Previous solution surprisedly worked! After trying several techniques, found the masking tape wrapped around a knife-sticky side on blade-worked splendidly..putty knife would be better-almost cut myself getting masking tape off knife! Oh yes, made sure there was no weight pushing down on top of player!
Both DVDs out - everything good
Thanks to you folks with your generous solutions!

I had the same problem, two DVD discs stuck in a DVD player .first make sure that the eject button is on , then try to pull out one disc with a tweeser, once the first disc comes out the next one will come out automatically.

My daughter inserted a 2nd DVD while there was still one in the player. Neither dvd would eject. Tweezers and spatulas did not work for me. I opened the screen, tuned off ignition and removed the rubber plugs, then unscrewed four long screws holding the unit in place. Then carefully removed power supply and closed dvd screen. Continued to unscrew about 10 - 12 little screws holding on top plate and removed plate. Unscrewed four little screws holding dvd player, just lifted the plate enough to pull out the dvds. Put everything back together carefully - needed another pair of hands to help while putting power supply back together, turned ignition on, then opened screen and replaced four long screws and rubber plugs. Everything worked again, no damage to unit or dvd's. Saved myself $80 for call out and 10 mins work!

Thanks do much for the tape and pie server tip! It worked like a charm. I used a flat small metal ruler and some painter's tape.
I cannot thank you enough.

We used a thin plastic ruler wrapped in tape at the end. Easily brought out both DVDs and player still works!

SOURCE: A dvd is stuck in
Hi.I do not know if you can do it but no other way..Lets try it..
Please got a screwdriver and open the DVD case from the sides and back. It is simple, just some black screws. Then look in the unit and see and gently remove the disks by plastic holder open and sliding the disks out.
Then put the cover back on and put the screws back in. Should Work fine now.
I hope this helps you. Good luck.
