This is not a fax machine but a commercial color copier. It is a Minolta CF 910 with a
C3310 error code. I need to know what caused it and how to cancel the code.

  • upstate24 Nov 18, 2008

Hi If the fax machine signals an error, check the manual or call the manufacturer to see what it means. If you get a lot of communications errors, make sure the phone line is plugged in all the way and that you hear a clear dial tone through the phone receiver. If not, you might want to call the telephone company and have them check your line for interference.

The error has something to do with the scanner part of the machine. CCD or gears. Some models have cable connecting it to the main unit that can be unplugged.

Hello,

The LCD panel displays a C3310 code after installing PWB-C.

Solution
Cause: Connections were not properly seated on the PWB-B.
Solution: Use a small flat-head screwdriver to gently seat the connectors into PWB-B.

It is not a problem with the LCD.
There LCD is the screen where the error is displayed.

Theproblem is in the PWB-P conector.

What causes the cf 910 to give c0000 and c0042

Hi

Thanks for using FixYa. Error C0000 means Main Motor’s failure to turn and error C0042 means Fusing Cooling Fan Motor failure to turn.
These errors can be due to your fuser getting stuck. Sometimes the upper and lower rollers get stuck together, or a flat spot may develop on the lower roller. Check the fuser rollers, replace if faulty.

Please do rate the solution & revert for further assistance.

Thanks
