Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Sound card interference. Gigabyte. I hear background sound...

Hello the sound driver could be the wrong one.

Download the right one here:

http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=3251#dl

By selecting your windows system 32 or 64 bit.
Please uninstall the old driver, before installing the new.

If you have a microphone connected, please lower the gain level, for that and see if it helps.

Good luck

Wall paper for windows 7 starter

Hello there,

Its one annoying limitation of Win7 Starter edition.

Download

Once you install Starter Background Changer on your Windows 7 Starter system, you'll find a new Personalize command added to the desktop context menu - the one that pops up when you right click on the screen. Select it, and you'll be able to customize your wallpaper straight away

1. Download the file on the link.
2. If the download doesn't start automatically, check again.
3. Install the file.
4. Look for the Personalize command added.
5. Change your background.

Hopefully this helps.
Thank you for posting..

Have Acer Apsire One with Windows 7. Can't change desktop background.

Yup...this is a "feature" of Windows 7 Starter, which is what came with your netbook. It doesn't allow for changing the desktop background.

I have to also point out that this "non-feature" is locked into the End User License Agreement (EULA) which specifically prohibits hacks to change the background. The only "legal" option is to upgrade to Windows 7 Home.

Having said all that, I could not stop you from Googling "How to change Windows 7 Starter wallpaper" and finding several easy hacks (which I am told) work well to allow a change of wallpaper. That, however, is at your own risk etc.

Hope that is helpful.

I want to change background pic on desktop but it doesn't give me any display options to do this the only option i have is to change resolution i want to be able to see a different pic on desktop

If you are using Windows 7 starter, then there is no way to change the desktop background. If you are using a different version of Windows update your video card driver.

Blinking red light on Cisnet C-28 dektop , and cpu very high when no programs open

The red light is the hard disk monitor LED - it blinks when some data is transferred to and from the disk.
If the cpu is at 100% with no visible programs open then there's a background program that's the cause - open Task Manager, find it and uninstall it.
