SOURCE: i got a telescope for bushnell it has the skytour

Do you have the manual? Most GOTO scopes have an alignment procedure that must be followed. For example_

Train the drives

Level the tripod

Set telescope into the "home" position

Align and center on two stars.

Here is the web site where you can find all the manuals and also get customer service.

SOURCE: i am wondering how good you should be able to see

No -- just remember that your scope is only 60mm wide. This is almost the same size lens as a pair of 10x50mm binoculars. About the most usable magnification for any telescope is 50 times aperture. So your scope is probably around 120 power. Yes I know the box said 500 power or 675 power or some number that you can never achieve in that size telescope.

All objects in the sky are very small because they are very far away. It does not look like the PHOTOS taken by the Hubble Space telescope.

I can't do much without knowing more details about what you are experiencing, but below is Bushnell's online Instruction Manual for the Voyager 789946 which I assume would be very closely related to your model.

I need manual for my bushnell refractor telescope.i can not see anything.

All of Bushnell's manuals are on this web site:

http://www.opticsplanet.net/bushnell-warranty.html

Look down the page for your telescope. The manual will NOT tell you how to use the telescope. It is only assembly instructions. Take the scope out in the day time and practice focusing on a distant object. DO NOT USE the 2x barlow if you have one. Just put the eyepiece with the LARGEST number written on it into the focuser. Turn the focus knob to the right and or left until you get a sharp image on a distant object during the day time.

What is the lens arrangment in the eyepiece of an 18-1560?

Did you DIS-assemble the eyepiece? If you did no one can tell you how to put it back together. There are so many different eyepieces. Normally the eyepieces just slip into the focuser.

Lens' in my new Voyager 78-9960 telescope fell out

The small squares are spacers between the lens elements. Most objectives have 2 parts, with one lens like() or (|. That is the one on the outside, with the outwardly curved side facing the object to view. The other lens goes behind it, making the stack look like: (object) --- ())| for the 2 lenses. Sorry, this page does not allow proper graphics, but I hope you get the idea.
Do not tighten the retaining ring too tight - just enough to hold in place. The lenses need a little space for thermal expansion.

How to put lens back together on a Bushnell Permafocus 17-5012. Lens had fallen in and now I have it appart but do not know what goes first, and so on.

Hi,

I presume you have this fixed by now but if not I'd recommend getting it back to Bushnell for repair(is it still in warranty?)
The Permafocus binoculars need specific callibration and the risk of dust or moisture getting in while open is not worth the hassle..
