Question about Pioneer Televison & Video
Have a 42 inch pioneer plasma tv monitor with a media center. it is 6 years old. My problem is that the media center switches off periodically which causes the monitor to shut off. I usually have to wait about 5 minutes before I cat turn everything on. What is the problem and how can it be solved?
If the light on the media reciever doesn't come on then the power supply in that needs to be replaced by a service tech. If you disconnect the 2 cables from the media reciever and the panel and then try to turn on the panel it should light with red and green squares for a few seconds but will turn off as it needs the media reciever to be connected.

Hello, I to had this problem, and my original media receiver finally died. I did however go to my local electronics store ( I'm not talking about the big box stores) And bought a $7.00 dvi to hdmi adapter. I simply unplugged the "system cables from the back of the media receiver and placed the adapter at the end of the DVI side of the cables, and plugged the now hdmi side into my hdmi splitter box and I am off and running! The only downfall is it does not carry sound only video. But this in not a problem for me as I have a surround sound system. This was a very inexpensive fix for me/ I hope this helps.
