Question about Audio & Video Receivers
Try one thing restore your laptop some previous date where the sound is working fine, if this also not solved you problem then take it to the technician some due to fault in the speakers , there is no sound

Check first that you did not mute the thinkpad by pressing the mute button on the top bar.
Just click the following link: 1ga239ww.exe
say I agree in the webpage that will open, and start downloading files.
Run the installer file after downloading is ended.

Just to be sure :
speakers / headset work on another computer or audio device
the green jack is where the speaker must be connected
windows volume control is not muted / the level is not set to 0
since the driver is working fine as windows reports, go to device manager and locate Sound Device then right-click on it and select Uninstall and restart your computer.

May I offer an alternative possibility. If the software/drivers checkouts and there are no yellow or red marks on the audio/sound devices inside the Device Manager, then it could possibly be a hardware fault. As a test, pls try using external speakers or a headset.
