Question about Craftsman 4 Cycle Blower/Vac
How do you switch from blower to vacuum mode on a craftsman leaf/vacuum blower # 358.794694?
There is a round grille on the bottom of the unit. Insert a flat blade screwdriver into the latch to release it and reveal the vacuum opening. You should have a two-piece intake pipe that will attach to the opening.
The collection bag attaches to the smaller outlet where the blower pipe used to be (unscrew the wing nut to release the blower pipe). The bag clips onto the hooks at the base of the opening.

I have a Craftsman and you should have a separate attachment to it. Your motor will turn the same, instead of pushing air out the pipe, you will draw air in through the air intake.

Just attach the bag and it will switch modes. The bag goes over where the air comes in to blow while in blower mode, so when u attach the bag it will automatically start vacuuming.

The model that I have you need to remove the guard over the intake on the side. It looks like where the pull cord would be traditionally. Then it is easy to hook the larger pipe to the studs mounted inside the cage. The cage is spring loaded so be ready.
