SOURCE: Just want to know where to set all the bottoms on

With out a frequency counter to tell you what freq you are transmitting on there is another way.

Turn to channel 19. mess with the switches untill you hear truckers on the highway. then you have got it.

Otherwise pick up a frequency counter on ebay.

SOURCE: my galaxy 77 wont stay

It's oscillating of frequency. At this point I recommend you take it to a licensed tech and have them put it on a scope. This is not a easy at home fix.

SOURCE: I have a Galaxy DX44V

Its in regular Am 27.185 mhz or 27.190 mhz or so.. Channel 19 is all truckers . You will hear them and local truck stops advertising. You need a frequency counter for your radio. If its in 27.185 or 27.190 mhz then you are on the right channel.

I have a Galaxy DX44V I need channel 19 only what settings do i put all the switches on ex. high band / low band? e-tone? ect.

Hi, Has this radio been converted to CB? Galaxy 44DX is an import. I am going to say it probably has. Turn the third knob to the right to "AM". And the Fourth knob from the left all the way to the left to "E/E"
Here are two links that will explain it all for you as Galaxy imports are a different breed.

Does the galaxy dx 44 v have dual finals ? thanks

No, the Galaxy DX44V is a single final radio. It is a 1969 transistor (tr43) mounted on the rear chassis in between the RF driver amp transistor (tr44) and the antenna jack.
For locations, see the following page:
