Thank you for the additional help, looks like it would have worked. I broke down and upgraded to Office 2007 so it's no longer needed. Thank Again.

The most direct way for you, if you have high speed internet connection, would be for you to download BCM from Microsoft:

http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=3aec8b42-6dc5...22-9dfb

It has 177MB in size, so it might take some time with non-broadband
connection. After you have it downloaded, you may want to remove BCM and
install from the downloaded file. You can continue to patch BCM 2003 SP3 at
this point for bug fixes - just follow the link at the bottom of that same
page.

Hope that helps,

MS Office won`t install. Error message refers to missing SKU011.cab file

In start /type run/ Regedit
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE -> Software -> Microsoft -> Office -> 11.0 -> Delivery
You should have this key 90000409-6000-11D3-8CFE-0150048383C9
clik on it and (at the right of your screen), right clik on CDCache key.
and type 0 as new value
also
Go into Registry Editor (Start, Run, "regedit"). Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE, Software, Microsoft, Office, 11.0, Delivery. There should be only 1 directory under Delivery, which is your DownloadCode (mine was 90000409-6000-11D3-8CFE-0150048383C9). Select that directory. On the right side of the screen, right-click on CDCache. Change the value to 0

hope this helps

My search results return a blank white page.

If you are running with Window XP then please see this and follow the instruction given by me:

Use IE 6.0 instead of IE 7.0

or use a new Web Browser such as Firefox or Google chrome, see this Tip posted by Me:

Google Chrome for All XP or Vista user

Let me know in either case if you have any issue remaining, dont vote till you get the solution.

Hi,

Thanks for your posting in FIxYa.

It seems that the CD by which you are trying to install Microsoft Office 2003 had the *.CAB File missing.

2 Option: It may need some Updates from Microsoft Website. So please download the required service pack for MS office.

Missing cab file etc.

There might be a problem with your ms excel, some files are corrupted and therefore you are unable to open your files..so the best solution is that we can repair your ms excel
for this just goto control panel > Double click on Add Remove Program >select microsoft office > now you will see a option change > just click on it and select Reinstall or Repair' ,on next screen it will ask you for 'Reinstall Office' or 'Detect and repair errors in my office Installation', first go with ''Detect and repair errors in my office Installation, if it doesn't help you go with 'Reinstall Office' ...........
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I hope you are satisfied with my support regarding your issue.
It will be highly appreciated if you could take a minute and provide me your feedback.
