My bunn vpr coffee maker is overflowing

Hello Kevin, My Name Is Mike,
Make sure you are using Bunn Vpr brand cupcake filters, not theshorter-sided generic variety. Also, inquire with Bunn Vpr about an optionalattachment for some models that will slow down the rate of water flow. Lastly, ensure that you are not over-filling the basket with grinds. There is an upperlimit to how much a coffeemaker will hold, and some people try to compensatefor weak coffee by adding too much. A lot of times, people now a days, also go to local coffee shop and have them grind there coffee fresh, and the coffee shop a lot of times will grind it to fine. And that would cause it to get clogged and overflow. Thanks So, much and hope this help. Also, If you ever want my help in the future, you can search for me as I have Market place ads I have created in all kinds of different appliance, automotive, electronic Categories. Thanks Mike

Bunn vpr steams everything out fill hole and nothing comes through copper tube, even after cleaning tube and head.

Fill water tank until water comes out from sprayhead, THEN plug it in it should be OK.

IF the machine keeps blowing steam/keeps boiling the water, The thermostat is defective and must be replaced.

NOTE: If you don't use the machine for a couple days, UNPLUG IT. The water will evaporate if you don't unplug it.

I have a 3 burner that I got on ebay and it seems to want to get the water too hot. It gets hot enough that it sends steam from everywhere. I imagine that that is due to water boiling in the tank? I...

Hello, yes you are correct, it's due to the water boiling in the tank. take 2 screws out of the top panel, just under this panel you will find the thermostat (it's ajustable) turn the temp down on the thermostat, if this does not solve the problem your thermostat may be bad and you will have to replace it. You can purchase new parts from either bunn direct or from holiday house in california. if you have any additional questions please feel free to comment again. Good Luck! Mike

WE have the Bunn VPR series. It's a pourover

Hello this coffee maker has a one and a half gallon internal tank, could be one of a few problems, first thing to check is the spray head, unscrew this you may need some channel locks to get it off and check it..use a tooth pick to clear the 6 holes with any lime that may have formed...also if you use a commercial coffee company for your coffee they should have supplied you with a spring to clean the spray head tube. After checking these 2 items the next thing to check is there enough water in the tank..when the vpr is left on and not used for a few days the water in the tank evaporates..it takes approx two and a half pots of water to fill up the internal tank...try pouring another pot of water in...also turn machine off and take the 2 screws out of the top and see if there is lime blocking the drain hole in the fill pan. Hope this helps...please feel free to comment again if you have any other questions...Good Luck!!! Mike

Very little water out when brewing

Hello markh525, Yes the tube is replacable. I do not have the part number off the top of my head but if you were able to search google for that exact coffee maker you should be able to come across it. If you feel like doing a project then all you will need is the corect gauge tube. If you are able to take the tube to a plumbing store they should have plenty laying around. If this is not the case please write back and i would gladly help.
Please post what you do and how you did it I look forward to your posts

Bunn Coffee maker leaks

I called Bunn and they were not helpful at all! I wound up putting silicone (it is not hot enough here to matter) on it, and after it cured, it was great! We have been using it at the Office for almost a year with no problems. I just made sure I did not get any on the part that acts as the "valve."
