Windows 7 roland e 09 Can't connect to PC

It's a keyboard. When I plugged it into my win 7, it started to install the driver. However that ended with a failure. Even after attempting to unplug it, and plug the USB back in, it won't bring back the prompt for installing the driver. Any way I can find the driver installation somewhere?

SOURCE: Roland RD-700SX as MIDI keyboard

Theres a good article at recordingreview.com. If you join which is free you have access to a lot of great information. You can download Midiox to troubleshoot your midi connections etc. Make sure that your transmit channel on your keyboard matches up with the receive channel in your program. Hope this helps.

How do i cannect my roland -09 to my PC then use FL studio or audacity with midi cables?

Do you mean the Roland E-09 or another Roland product? You need a MIDI to USB In/Out converter. Make sure that the converter is supported by the manufacturer with your OS version. One example is https://www.amazon.com/Converter-LiDiVi-Professional-Keyboard-Adapter/dp/B071KLC884 . This is a USB 2.0 device that works with Windows XP through Windows 10 and Mac OS X. A few others are reviewed here: https://www.musicrepo.com/best-selling-midi-interfaces-the-ultimate-top-10/ . You may need to be connected to the internet and allow your computer to obtain drivers for other devices. Connect the cable appropriately. Turn on the Roland device and make sure that your OS sees the USB device before launching your software. Note: Audacity can only import a MIDI file as a Note Track, https://wiki.audacityteam.org/wiki/Midi . You'll need additional software to capture the MIDI from the device. Some options are listed at the bottom of the Wiki page above. You may need to try several options to find a program that you like.

The Roland E-09 manual is available here: https://www.roland.com/us/support/by_product/e-09/owners_manuals/ . Other Roland support is available here: https://www.roland.com/us/support/ .

I hope this helps. I'm not familiar with FL Studio's menu. I haven't used Audacity's MIDI features. I use the software to digitize audio from Line In and microphone.

Replacing ac power adapter.

If the polarity, voltage, and amperage are the same, there is no reason that you cannot use this device as an alternate.

I have a very loud hiss/buzz sound coming from my Roland. It goes away if I lower the high volume knob. This just starred to happen recently. I tried changing connections from ch1-4 but no fix.

If this ties to a keyboard, make sure the keyboard and this are BOTH plugged into the same receptacle. You should send a higher level from the keyboard (turn volume up to around 70% or so) and use less volume at the input gain of this amp. Use more at master volume if the amp has one if needed. If the hiss is there with NO input cables plugged in and input gains at 50%, that is objectionable, the amp probably needs servicing. Unused channel gains should be clear down.

How do i connect my roland D5 keyboard to my pc

What kind of sound card do you have in your PC? Generally you can plug into the line in jack using a stereo RCA to 1/8" stereo plug cord with !/4" adapters on the RCA plugs. Then run from the !/4" left and right output jacks on your D5 to the !/8" line in on your sound card.
