Hey
take any long piece of metal or wood, push it back up.If the nail is stuck in the way then you have to adjust and take off the whole magazine. You are going to release the magazine, the nail will come out from here (make sure it's not pointed at anyone!), and you can take the tool and push the pin up that far

There is a nial stuck in my tubeless tyre, it is a headless nail but I cannot grip the nail as it is about 3/4 mm inside the tyre, can I plug it by pushing the nail further inside?

Hi Elferns
Yep! You could do that
But the nail might damage the insides as you hit bumps.
Its a bit long winded but if you prop the car up on a jack and let the tyre down then break the seal from tyre to rim, you can reach inside with pliers and pull it out.
Also Better to use a marker on the outside to mark the entry point. You can buy a small kit with tools & rubber bead to push back in the original hole. The tool pulls out and leaves the rubber bead behind. Cut off excess.
Some people don't... but I prefer to coat the rubber bead with the included rubber glue before pushing into the puncture hole.
Kit available at 4WD shops.
Cheers

My new porter cable RN175B nail gun won't discharge a nail

If the trigger is set to single fire, you will need to place the gun against the work then pull trigger as you have done. Try setting the trigger to bump fire and try again. If hear a thump inside the gun, remove the head and check that the head valve in not stuck from lack of lubrication. Easy test, remove the nails, remove trigger pin, remove trigger and manually push trigger firing valve. If the gun fires then suspect faulty trigger or safety arm not lifting enought to activate the trigger valve. Good luck

I have a duo fast SureShot 764 nail gun that won't depressurize after a shot is fired and the driver stays stuck out?

are you putting lubricating oil in the gun? it sounds like its very dry inside . but only a few drops in to the gun at a time, per manufactures recomendations, and only use the approved oil for that gun

Problem: Nail jam due to improper degree of nails Question: How do I take apart the nail gun so as to get the jammed nails out?

Try removing stuck nails without taking apart gun. Remove remaining nails from rails. Use long piece of allen wrench or similar hard steel and grind the end to allow for jamed nail (I use a broken driver blade ground slightly thinner to allow for stuck nail). Use heavy brass or copper hammer to push driver up to top of cylinder. If after a couple of heavy blows the driver does not move, remove the head of the gun and pull out the cylinder and place the body of the gun on plywood. This will protect the head from damage. Good luck

8 penny nails are stuck in gun. How do you get them out?

If the nails are stuck in the rails, remove the rails and fish them out. If a nail is stuck between the driver and nose of the gun, you will need to forcefully push the driver back into the gun. Remove the head and cylinder and place the body of the gun on piece of plywood with nose pointing up. Using very sturdy steel rod, hammer the driver down. The steel rod needs to be slightly thinner than the driver to allow for the stuck nail. I use a broken driver ground thinner on the side that will need to bypass the stuck nail. Careful when striking hard steel with hammer, could spinter (I use a heavy brass hammer). Good luck

I have a shell stuck in the gun and can't get it out!

if it is exploded run a rod through the gun when you break it apart. if it is unexploded be careful - it's probably a rim fire cartridge. use plenty of penetrating oil.

Bostitch n80 does not feed nails

make sure that the feeder spring is not broken this stops nails or can jam them or cause them to skip. Some nail gun types work bette if you buy their brand of nails, but it could possibly just be dirty or maybe check the nail size. You should also have a way to adjust how far your nails are in the bucket where you put your nails, it should go up or down by spining it.
