Question about Casio Parts Cash Register PC Desktop

1 Answer

Casio Register 265P

Bought aone froma store out of biz. I am a thrift shop raising money for charity. It has no manual. I only need it to add up simple amounts and add tax. Wouldn't mind an end of day tape also.
Don't know how to or what kind of paper to use either.
Help much appreciated.

Can't be done easily. If it could all the bent shop assistants would be turning it off and dipping in the till.

The only thing you can do in your case is take the top off and disconnect the lead to the printer unit.

Hi.
You will need to get them from a dealer. Look up your nearest one in the phone book.

I am trying to program the tax rate on my casio pcr 265p register but it keeps reading way above the tax rate I enter. It is for Texas 8.25%, when I enter 12.99 and add tax it shows 15.20 which is not...

Sounds like a programming problem, or could be that the register is keeping too many entries and not replacing an old entry, just adding onto it and giving you more than 8.25%.

800-638-9228 is the toll-free Programming Assistance number from the manual, page 7, since it's toll-free they would be the best option.

Hi.
Most of the simple machines don't have a fuse. If it has gone completely dead, then the thermal protector inside the transformer is the likely cause. You could open it and check for a fuse. If it doesn't have one, or it is not blown, then you will probably need a new transformer, or the thermal link needs replacing.

Sorry I can't be of more help. If you have an appliance repair shop near you, then they may be able to do this sort of work on the power supply.
