The pump works but the coffee maker won't heat up the water so no steam is coming out. The orange light does not turn itself off. I don't know if the heater has gone bad. Can the heater be replaced? We need our expresso machine back and running! I guess we are hooked...

- The heater wire was disconnected. The problem was resolved by simply connecting it. I beleive the vibration of the machine got it loose.Clarification Request

Is top of the espresso machine heated up? Or just stone cold?

- I have the same problem where the heating light will not go out and the water does not heat up. It was mentioned that the heating wire may have come loose due to vibration. Where is the heating wire locatred and how do you get to it? - tandersoFeb 11, 2009
