Do you mean playback on the camcorder, or playback via a TV or PC ? If on the camcorder, there may be a menu setting for this - check the manual. If TV or PC, use the volume control on that. Alternatively, there may be a menu setting to permit you to record at a higher volume. Be careful if you choose this, as background noise will also increase in volume.
I have a sony trv14e it was working fine yesterday on playback with sound my children pressed something and suddenly theres no sound on playback. Please help if you know how to restore the sound. Thankyou
The camcorder sound can be set to one of ten levels, with 0 being no sound at all.
Turn the camcorder on and let it boot up. Press the Mode button. Move the cursor to the bottom icon, the "hammer and screwdriver." Press the Menu button to select this icon. Now use the down arrow button to scroll down to "Volume." Now press the menu key to select this, and you can check/set your volume as you wish.
You can download the PDF manual for this and all other current Polaroid cameras at www.polaroid.com
Unfortunately, connecting an external mic is not an option that was engineered into this model camcorder. Likewise the speaker and small amplifier for audio playback is simply what it is. You should be able to adequately hear normally recorded levels. If not, maybe there is a problem with the internal condensor mics or the playback speaker. If you are unable to obtain a resonable level using A/V cables to a TV, then something could be wrong.
I have not seen problems with this model regarding sound, but anything can happen.
you need to check whether sound is ok tru av out leads ,or is it problem with no sound while trying to play back in camera as have seen a few of these with internal speakers going faulty.if you try it tru av leads you should have sound if this is the case
