Runs good for about 10 mints then looses power and dies. I have changed plug, air filter and fuel filter. Its like its over heating

if this one runs Two cycle fuel mix , then its 4 sure overheating from an inproper fuel/oil mix , this will sure lead to engine dammage and require replacement of engine to fix

ck your owners manual for proper fuel/oil mix or some times its on/near the fuel cap as well

Gas blower engine surges and shuts off when engine gets hot

check your fuel lines for cracks, could be sucking air or could be your carb needs cleaning, make sure you clean the screen inside the carb, if you run it with the choke on partially does it smooth out and quit surging, if so it is definitely a fuel problem. Hope I helped you. 2StrokeJim

Redmax ebz5100 blower stumbles/misfires periodically until engine is hot?

What happens if you play with the choke ? does it clear up or change, If it does then it's a fuel problem example : fuel filter, fuel line cracked, dirt in carb. If the choke does'nt make a difference then , try a new spark plug Good Luck, Let me know how you come out 2StrokeJim

Leaf blower wont go into full speed when you shift the throttle. changed the plug, gas and checked the filter. Do these things have a fuel filter?

Yes, there is a small filter at the end of the pick up line. However, you did not specify whether you are "starving" for fuel, indicating a filter that is clogging. Most likely, you have a dirty air filter, it may look clean but is not letting in enough air. I believe there is a carb adjustment available on that engine, if you elect to adjust it, keep the current reference marked, and make adjustments in 1/8 turns, no more than 1/2 run in, or 1/2 turn out.

could be fuel lines, fuel filter, or your carburetor needs to be rebuilt. The carb has thin rubber diaphragms that get hard over time, hot weather, or stale gas. Need more assistance,

Hi

Check the fuel lines, fuel filter and clean the fuel tank.Disassembly the carb and clean it carefully.Diafragm type carb has a fuelpump, pay attention to it ,has to be tighten not folded. When the engine gets warm ,the fuelpump cannot keep the right proportion of fuel and the air/fuel mixture is changing. It has to be changed.
