I would go to hp support site and get the correct drivers for the model you own,you can let them scan your system and they will offer everything drivers for that model,(i have done this numerous times with all my hp products) and other downloads, like sonic burning software and patches that comes with hp computers.then do the microsoft update, this may offer more. good day, hope this is useful glen.

Download Microsoft UAA drivers
Uninstall your sound drivers through device manager
Install UAA drivers and reboot
Then reinstall your sound drivers
