Loud sounding like loose parts when draining

When the washing machine is draining there is a very loud metalic noise, something between a banging and clicking, like there are many parts that are loose. That is what it sounds like to me. There is also excessive vibration and niose during the spins cycles.

Thanks for the help. I didn't get around to taking the pump off of the washing machine, however, the metalic noise stopped after a few more wash loads and hasn't been back. Is it possible for something to work its way through the system and then out the drain? But I was glad that I didn't have replace the washing machine with the solution that was offered. Thank you again for your help. I will check pockets more closely.

Banging noise comming from back of washer near the belt

I have a GE WHDSR316G1WW top loading washer and the drain hose located on the upper left rear of the plastic outer tub came loose. It sounded like a worn seal or bearing because it was banging so loud. I removed the control panel, top panel and front panel, reattached the drain hose into the housing hole and the problem was solved. Saved $80 service call.

Hello, washing machine is mounted on two supports, if it is damaged first which is where the engine so both need to be replaced because they wear out. If you're just a little handy so you know it himself .Ak you order parts so precisely that type because they are different .

Washing machine making loud banging cracking noise.

Sounds like something's got between the drum and tub and is resting on the heater element. Remove the heater and check in the gap

Loud noise during washing/rinsing cycles

I just replaced the bearings on my Front loader Maytag MAH5500B, as it sounded like a freight train during the spin cycle. The bearing replacement fixed the train problem.

NEW PROBLEM NOW: It's been about a month now since the bearing job and now something is clicking/binding when you spin the back belt wheel. I have taken the belt off and carefully move the wheel and I still get this clicking noise. It sounds as if someone is hitting the plastic drum that the tub is surrounded by. I really doubt it's the bearings this soon, as the sound is not the same! No leaks or metal shavings to speak of or rubbing of the belt wheel.

Seems like it's more noticeable during the wash/rinse cycles then the spin.

Can anyone help.???

Loud banging in spin cycle zanussi aqua cycle

if you can get the front plate off you will probably notice that the drum stabilizer roller has either fallen off or is damaged. This part is replaceable and should be no more than 20 bucks.

Terrible scraping noise from drum, what is it?

more likely there is a bra wire caught between the inner drum and outer tub, possibly wrapping itself around the element in the bottom.
