This solution should help fix the issue. I advise you use the Nokia PC
Suite to backup your phone data prior to doing this reset. Also, you
should download and install Nokia Software Updater and use this to update your phones firmware and software in the future.
Enter *#7370# code from the keypad. and press the Dial button.
Type unlock code 12345 press continue.
Restart your phone.
You should check for updates on the phone at this time Enter *#0000# from the keypad and press the dial button
Select "Options" and then select "Check for updates".
Remember to backup your phone before performing these functions.
Hi there! Since you've
mentioned that your phone keeps on turning off then ill be advising you
to please check if your battery is properly holding a charge because it
might be that your phone doesn't have enough power.so if the problem is your battery then kindly purchase a new one to prevent other issues.
OK, the fact that the phone keeps restarting or switching off, is either an overheating issue, or, most probably a firmware related error. You will be able to get the firmware updated at your nearest brand service centre.
If the firmware update does not work, it is an overheating error.
Feel free to let me know if you need any further assistance.
Hey. I think this is a general problem with the K770i. I have one also and it will turn itself off and then back on everytime there is a bad signal when the phone is in 3G/GSM mode. Sadly The phone has a really bad antenna located in the bottom of the phone. You can try holding the phone upside down, (seriously it helps) or turn of 3G when you're in an area with poor signal.
I've solved this issue by going into the settings and switching the phone to ONLY GSM mode. Goto "Settings" "Connectivity" "Mobile Networks" "GSM/3G networks" and then change it to GSM only.
And like magic your phone will stop turning itself off all the freaking time when there's a bad signal. :)
first enter 00000000 then ok it it will give you invalid sim now dial x#9998x3323# then exit and then press 7 it will restart itself .the solution is not permanent cuz you will have to do this every time you want to switch on ur cellphone.
