Question about JVC GR-D70EK Mini DV Digital Camcorder
I have in the past connected my JVC GR-D50 DV camera via Firewire to myPC to capture video. Last night the PC couldn't see it at all. Iuninstalled the IEEE 1394 controller on the motherboard [TexasInstruments OHCI compliant] and reinstalled it. Still it couldn't beseen. I tried 2 different pieces of capture software [Ulead Videocapture & ImageMixer1.1] - both reported Camcorder could not befound. Am running XP Pro 32bit SP2. I brought the camera to work andhooked it up to a Mac [none of my office PCs have firewire] using thesame IEEE1394 cable. The Mac couldn't see it. I changed the cable foranother. the Mac still couldn't see it.....So it must be the softwarein the camera. SO WHAT NOW?
