Codes of c++

Microsoft Visual C++ 6.0 is an integrated development environment, or IDE, released by Microsoft in 1998. An IDE allows the user to create a computer application by using pre-designed functions, tools and other resources. Microsoft Visual C++ 6.0 features a source code editor, a compiler, a debugger and graphical user interface.

Install Microsoft Visual C++ 6.0 on your computer. The installation process is fairly simple. Just follow the prompts. Run the program. A window will appear asking you to create a new application. On the "Project" tab, choose "Win32 Console Application." This means that you will create an application with an EXE file extension that can work with 32-bit Windows operating systems after compiling the project. Also, specify the project's name and the location where it will be saved. Click "OK." Click"OK" in the dialog box that will appear next. You will choose to start an open project. Double-click on the form in the center of the screen. Type: #include <iostream.h> int main() { cout <<"This is my first project!!! Hello everybody! \n" return 0; } Press "F5." This will build and run the project. Microsoft Visual C++ 6.0 will compile your project into an EXE file. Then it will open this file. You will see a new window open in which you'll see your greeting, " This is my first project!!! Hello everybody!" Press any key to exit the application. http://elvis.rowan.edu/~kay/cpp/vc6_tutorial/ http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/visualc/ee340952.aspx

I am looking for a motion recognition system with source code, if anyone could help me

Hi Champ_guru,
Most motion detectors provide a simple voltage output when the sense motion, so you'll need an interface board to connect one to your computer. For this kind of electronics work, arduino boards tend to be very useful, and with a little digging, I was able to find a project that I think will meet your needs. You can find a complete walk-through with source code for controlling the system at
http://luckylarry.co.uk/arduino-projects/arduino-very-basic-motion-tracking-with-2-pir-sensors/
If you're looking for an image based detection system (webcam, etc), The Code Project has a very good writeup with code examples at http://www.codeproject.com/KB/audio-video/Motion_Detection.aspx, however you'll still have to do some implementing. Hope this helps!

Private sub cmdEdit_click ( ) what is the right code to work the edit buton

You will probably want to be able to update some value of some field when doing database programming. This is done with Edit and Update. We will try to change the value of the "Phone" field by editing the text in the text box and clicking a button.
Put a command button on the form and name it "cmdUpdate". Then copy the following code to the project.
Private Sub cmdUpdate_Click()

rsMyRS.Edit
rsMyRS!Phone = txtPhone.Text
rsMyRS.Update

End Sub
Could it be that simple? Yes. This changes the phone number of our selected person. Or to put it technically: This changes the value of the "Phone" field of our current record. Imagine the current record being a set of boxes, with a field in each box. T he Edit method takes the lid off all of the boxes and Update puts them back on. When we write rsMyRS!Phone = txtPhone.Text we replace the content of the "Phone" box with the content in the text box.

Okay.. so my problem is that I can't install V.B. 6 to my computer... according to the messagebox, I have compatibility issues...I'm using Vista right now... does this mean I HAVE TO change my O.S. to XP...

Most likely you are on a 64bit system. What you could do is download virtualbox which is free. With virtualbox you could install and run another operating system on it. you could run windows xp on your vista with virtualbox. then install vb6 on it.

Can you make an internet browser with microsoft visual basic 2008?

yes you can below you have one option:
Create a new project, and then go to "Project" on the menu.
Click components as shown in the following image.
Find the component "Microsoft Internet Controls," check it, and click "Apply" and then "Close."
Click the icon that was just added in the tools window, and draw a large sized window with it. This is going to be where you view webpages through your browser, so don't make it small, but leave room for buttons and other accessories.
Make a textbox, this will be your URL bar where you type in the address of the website you want to see.
Make four command buttons, these are going to be your Go, Back, Forward, and Refresh buttons, change the captions accordingly, and name each of them Cmdgo, Cmdback, CmdForward, and CmdRefresh.
Now, here's the coding part. This is all it takes to make your webbrowser working:
Private Sub cmdback_Click()
WebBrowser1.GoBack
End Sub
Makes the back button go backwards, pretty much self explanatory:
Private Sub Cmdforward_Click()
WebBrowser1.GoForward
End Sub
Same concept, except this time the webbrowser goes forward:
Private Sub cmdgo_Click()
WebBrowser1.Navigate (Text1.Text)
End Sub
Makes your webbrowser go to the URL in your text box:
Private Sub cmdrefresh_Click()
WebBrowser1.Refresh
End Sub
Makes your web browser refresh:
Private Sub Form_Load()
WebBrowser1.Navigate ("http://yahoo.com")
End Sub
The URL shows your homepage, change it to http://google.com or whatever your usual homepage you would like to be.
Private Sub WebBrowser1_StatusTextChange(ByVal Text As String)
Text1.Text = (WebBrowser1.LocationURL)
Form1.Caption = (WebBrowser1.LocationName)
End Sub

Please send me complete details including your operating system and visual studio service pack version. If you are getting this error for windows vista then you can try later version of VS which works fine with vista and also i want to tell you you can use microsoft visual web developer express or microsoft visual c# developer express edition for the same purpose and also they consume less resources than VS.
