Sounds like the DVD may be a bit scratched, or the lens is dirty.  Try the following:

  1. Buy a laser lens cleaner (generic audio one will do fine, a couple of bucks from a cheap shop) and run it through your computer.
  2. Try the install again.  If it still doesn't work, copy the contents of the DVD to a folder on your computer and try running setup from there.  This has worked for other people before.

When I try to install Office 2007 I get this message: Missing Enterprise WW/EnterWW.cab

Is this Licensed version you are trying to install from ? Contact Microsoft regarding this Issue.

If not, you will have to try with different Copy of the Office installation Disk since the disk you are using has the CAB file ( cabinet file ) missing.

Attempting to install microsoft office professional and during installation the program say that it cannot find pror.WW/prorWW.cab browse to a valid installation source.

Try Manually installing the software. copy the content of the disc on to an empty folder then run the installer from that folder. usually this problem is caused by a damaged disc or the disc reader is having a hard time reading the disc.

Cab file error

This is more than likely a software....not hardware....problem. In the install routine (if I remember correctly) you have the ability to point to a location where the cab / file is. To find the exact location just insert your cd and use Windows explorer to find it. Once found do the install and when prompted point it at the file on the cd....You can also copy the cd to your hard drive and initiate the install from there....it's faster. Tango.
