So I've this terrific phone but was forced to leave Verizon due to over billing. I'd like to be able to use it with T-Mobile. Can anyone help? It's the original model so it doesn't have many connection options but the durability, asthetics, and even flashlight make it a phone I'd dearly like to use. Thanks for your time. I hope you can help.

Hello. You can definitely unlock your T-mobile network locked Samsung Galaxy Exhibit using unique unlock code. You can get the unique unlock code for your Samsung Galaxy Exhibit from Mobile-Unlocker.com at affordable cost with an easy unlocking guide. But you can unlock a GSM network locked phone to use any other GSM network SIM card only. Verizon is CDMA network provider. You cannot use it with the unlocked phone.
hi you can use codes to unlock your mobile .you can visit here unlocking4u here you select the model of your mobile ,the country from where you brought the mobile and the provider which locks your mobile .then they ask you the imei number of your mobile if you provide the number then finally they will render you the unlock codes.
The only way to "unlock" a phone from a Verizon account immediately is to have the account owner activate a different phone on their line. If the account owner simply closes the line, the phone will not be available to activate on another line until Verizon has closed out the final bill for the account, and if that bill is not paid in a timely fashion, the phone could wind up on the "blacklist" of unpaid accounts and be unable to activate on ANY Verizon account until the balance is paid.
Have the account owner find another phone to use, and then turn off the LG Rumor and dial *228 and choose option 1 from the other phone. Once the activation is complete, you can follow the same procedure to activate the Rumor on your line.

Justification for use of Subsidy PasswordThe term "subsidy" refers to the subsidization of cell phones sold to customers that purchase mobile phones as part of a contract with the mobile service operator. Many network operators provide these subsidies as an incentive for users to sign extended contracts, and use the subsidy lock as a means of protecting their investment. The installation of such locks means that users often are forced to purchase a different phone if they decide to switch their network (of advantage to both the OEM manufacturer and cellular service provider). CDMA cellular providers that use SUBSIDY locks on their handsets: Ntelos, Cricket, Sprint, Quest, US Cellular & SureWest. (Not a complete list) GSM: (SIM LOCK) T-Mobile Cingular AT&T Alltel or Verizon Wireless do not use any type of subsidy locks on their CDMA phones. Default Code:000000 or 123456 or 654321 Prepaid cellphones from Alltel & Verizon Wireless come locked from the store, but Verizon Wireless prepaid cellphones can be unlocked with a call to Verizon. Link for more information about the "subsidy lock" Unlocking services and softwareAs a result of the lack of open access to the Subsidy Password database, a number of online services have grown around providing alternative unlocking software. The methods used to unlock cell phones varies although most involve reading the code from the phone and resetting it. Network carriers some times unlock their customer's phones. The practice is not different from that when a user unlocks his own phone. While one could consider that the DMCA brings the legality of such applications under question, recent legal cases such as Lexmark Int'l v. Static Control Components have confirmed that the use of software to reprogram such phones is not illegal. This is particularly true since unlocking applications increase compatibility with alternative networks, promote positive competition and allow customers greater freedom to use the phones that they own. There are no prohibitions to unlocking in the United Kingdom.
