Question about Motorola Mobility V262
I was talking on my phone the other day and it just stopped working and hasn't worked since. I'm not really worried about the phone, but I have literally hundreds of contacts stored on there! The loss would be very time consuming. Both LCD displays (time and primary) blink on and off when I try to turn it on and they don't stop until I take the battery out. Once right after it happened, I saw the Hellomoto screen briefly, but that's it; now it just blinks. I took it to Alltel and tried a new battery in it, but same deal there. I took the phone apart completely and saw nothing obviously wrong (I'm a mechanical engineer), blew out the dust, etc. Is my contact list still stored on the phone? How can I get it retrieved?
I have this same problem, and that solution posted sucks because I still have 3 months on my contract, so no new phone. And now, I can't even use it, so I have to pay for those months for basically 0 service. Does anyone have a solution that doesn't involve buying a new phone?

The cell company I have has a device that transfers the number to your new phone. It desn't matter if your old phone is no longer working.
