Hello i have a Sony TV Trintron model #KV_27S22. It started doing funny things a couple of weeks ago, The screen would go blank and then come on again, all the time the sound is still there and working fine, but the picture would go and come back go and come back, go and come back, about every few seconds until the tv got warmed up. The color is still great on this tv and i was wondering if it is worth putting money back into it. It has been a great TV and never gave us one minute of trouble up until now.

Does the power light come on? If not, check the power cord and power outlet on the wall. Maybe plug in a table lamp to the wall power outlet to make sure the outlet is working. If the power light is on, check the Mute button on your JBL remote control. Also check the Mute button on your TV if sound and picture go through the TV first.
We had a Harman Kardon soundbar (model SB30) made by the same company as your JBL. It worked great for a few months. Then there were a couple of funny high-pitched sounds that stopped when we turned the soundbar off and back on. Then a day or two later we truned on the soundbar and it was completely dead - no sound at all. Harmon/JBL replaced the soundbar under warranty with a refurbished one which lasted about two weeks and dies the same as the first one. Finally, they replaced the second one with a higher model (the SB35) which is still working, although it occasionally makes a rapid clicking noise for a moment here & there.
you need to have 3 pair of audio-in ports for that.
i think your sound system has 3 input ports.
1.tv in ->u can connect this to audio out of your tv
2: vcr in ->u can connect this to audio out port of vcr
3: aux in -> this can be connected to your TV Receiver
then you can use the soundsystem remote to switch between the source to listen one at a time.
pls come back if u have any thing more
HI, If TV shows high bright light of either red, green or blue and shuts off then it got related color picture tube problem that will be replaced. Bad picture tube replacement is job of qualified tech because it requires multiple adjustments after replacement. Please check with local tech for an estimate. Hope this info will help you. Thanks.
Due to the fact that you lost the remote, you will have to buy a universal one(lots of places have them) and you will have to program it to your TV, most come with a code book with them, follow the instructions, if that does not work most remotes have a search code feature on them, where you can turn the unit on and follow the steps to search for the code and you should be good to go.
I had the same problem a couple years ago with mine. After letting it set for several months, I tried to plug it in again after moving into another house. All of a sudden, it started working again. That was 1 year ago, but just last week...it did it again. I noticed that it does this if it is left on for an extended amount of time (my wife goes to bed at night and leaves it on). I cannot find anything on how to fix it, and no warranty assistance from RCA. I'm purchasing a Sony today, but will hold onto the RCA in case it decides to work again.
