2007 Chevy HHR and when driving, I hear a clicking/ticking noise when pressing the gas petal. The sound is louder when the window is down. do anyone know what this is?

Could be valve problems get a garage to check it out or to make sure get a two foot length of wood and hold it to the top of the engine against your ear while somebody is reving it up

Sounds like a rotating electrical device not connected to the drive belt, like a rad fan. Not sure if this engine has a vacuum pump, but that could also be what's making the noise.

Engine tick on a 2001 hyundai tiburon. Replaced lash adjusters but the noise is still there. Not present when idling. Only can be heard when accelerating/providing fuel (via gas pedal). Tick increases...

can be a problem with lifters, bent/broken valves.. timing could be off, could be a balance shaft. this is something you want to take into a shop and have looked at.

When pushing on gas pedal buzzing sound seems to go away

with engine running?? assuming noise is under hood here is one possible cause. sometimes pcv valve will make a buzzing noise as the little ball in there flaps around when spring gets weak. locate your pcv valve and feel it if this is noise you will feel the hose vibrating and if so replace valve

When I start my car it shakes a little while in park then when I put my foot on the gas pedal it makes this loud noise. The faster I try to go the louder it gets. It sort of like a ticking noise.

Sounds like you have a misfire. May be a tune up only issue. Get it serviced and diagnosed. There most likely a code stored to direct the technician
