Electric blanket stays flashing FF

By joecopeland on Nov 11, 2008

I turned the blanket on and it flashes FF. I unplugged it for half an hour and then plugged it in and turned it on again with the same results. It will not let me set the temp. I want.

-   This morning I woke up and the blanket was not heating but the screen on the temperature gauge was flashing FF.  I couldn't turn it off or change temperatures so I ended up unplugging it.  -   dianasaur

Sunbeam Electric Blanket cost over $100 for a King. Never has heated up warm enough, and after two years now flashes FF and nothing I do will stop it. Can't get any satisfaction from Sunbeam. How can a company produce a product with this problem and not do anything about it. I'm really disgusted. Retired and cannot afford another $100 and would never buy a Sunbeam anything again.
