My sumsung is running but it does heat

If everything works on the unit, but you do not receive any heat or possibly the turntable does not turn you have a faulty magnetron (controls heat) and a faulty motor (controls turntable). You would require service on the unit, if parts are available. Some microwaves are so small in cubic foot size, that manufacturer's do not have parts available for purchase/repairs.

Suspect inverter (power) and or the Magnatron---neither are cheap parts.

The signs are not always evident, but from the description the magnetron has failed.

The problem may be the magnetron or the inverter board, if the unit is less than 7 years old. Cost of parts alone will approach the price of a new one.

The door switches are often a problem, one or two are probably defective which would cause the symptoms that you are describing.

If your microwave runs, but doesn'theat your food, verify that you have selected a cooking setting. You mayaccidentally set the timer. Test the magnetron by placing 1 cup of water in themicrowave and heating the water for three minutes. If the water doesn't heat,your magnetron is dead.

It may be a shorted high voltage rectifier diode or magnetron.
