I can't turn it on, the batteries are good I just don't know how to use it

Place a cd inside the tray and close the door. If there is a power button on the side shift it to power on. Now the display should ccome on and the cd must start turning. If you get a reading and the clock counts then plug in the headdphone jack into the small headphone socket and increase volume. If none of these happens you will have to check from thebegining. check your bateries, clean your head and check. If no display , you have a failure in the board, if display come and no reading, your opticcal unit is faulty/. I hope this helps you. Good day

Volume too low - don't have headset that came with it - I have various headsets, but only one works - can I buy just a headset?

yes you can, but that should not be the problem. make sure you are not plugging it into the line out this does not tie into the volume switch. if your plugging it into the headphone jack and believe its just faulty headphones go to walmart and buy new ones.

I bought my husband some wireless headphones. The

All you have is to connect the 3 wires from the cable that is for going to the phones jack, at the pins 1,3,4 of the scart a/v of the tv. Mention that the shield of the cable (the one is going at the big outer metal of the phones plug) must connect at the pin 4.Here is a pinout of the a/v pins
I suppose that a euro a/v (or scart a/v) to RCA or mini jack adaptor is posible to be found at your market so you don't have to make one by yourself.

In case of a problem or clarification, don't hesitate to post.

I want to know the output jacks identifacation teac hmx-750

Not sure exactly what you are asking for, but:

The output jack is a headphone jack that is 1/8" diameter with the following pinout: tip = left channel, ring (next contact) is the right channel, sleeve (third larger contact area is the common/return for the left and right audio.

Audio output from my TV

take a red and white audio rca cable and cut off one end of the jacks. on the end you cut, solder a headphone output plug on. can also solder on the lines of a pair of headphones (where you've cut off the 1/8 in jack) directly to the rcv jacks.

Sound problems on my D-NE720

!st, try a different pair of headphones. If the problem persists, the jack is breaking from the PCB and will need to be resoldered.

Sound only comes from left earphone (taking the cover off the headphone jack)

Hello. The problem could be the jack itself, more exactly it has a bad contact with the main board. If you have a soldering equipment you should try to resolder the jack to the main board. Or you may try to go at a service center, to have the jack replaced just to be shure. It isn't an expensive repair and can be done in half hour at max. I don't recomand you to try to dissasemble the jack because it may get damaged even further. check the connections with the main board, it may even be a broken pin. Good luck, feel free to ask further questions and don't forget to rate any answer received from this site :)
