Wireless not working on acer aspire one d255e

Power on the laptop computer and wait for the operating system to boot.

Right-click the wireless Internet icon in the lower right corner of the desktop.

This brings up a new pull-down menu.

Select "View Available Wireless Networks."

This brings up a selection of different possible Internet connections that are in range of the computer.

Select the wireless Internet connection you want to use.

If a password is required, you need to type it in now.

Wait for the laptop to connect to the Internet.

In a moment the computer is going to state it has successfully connected to the Internet.

click Start, Run type in cmd and click Ok to bring up a command prompt.

Type ipconfig /all and press enter and see if it gives you an IP address similar to 192.168.1.100.

Check your wireless connection properties under My Network Places.

Right click the wireless connection icon and choose properties.

From there make sure Internet Protocol {TCP/IP} is listed, highlight it and click properties. Make sure Obtain an IP address automatically is checked and Obtain DNS server address automatically is checked.

Make sure you Ethernet is enabled in bios restart your computer during the boot up process you will see on your screen a certain key to

press to enter set up (BIOS) press and hold that key to enter bios using arrow keys scroll to intergrated peripherals

look for SiS On Chip Pci Device press enter scroll to SiS 10/100m press enter make sure its enabled

if still no joy

Let's first try to start the wireless service i.e. WLAN AutoConfig service manually. To do this, login to the computer as an administrator.
1. Click Start, type services.msc and hit enter.

2. Locate WLAN AutoConfig service, double click on it to open its properties window.

3. Under General tab, change the Startup type to Automatic and click Start button.

4. Click Apply and then ok.

For more information about the wireless settings, check this link: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb878035.aspx

`What is the password for phoneix bios setup utility

Toshiba has been leading the pack in this kind of security for years now. The only way to reset the BIOS password on THAT laptop, is to send it back to Toshiba.

Now, do you know what Toshiba will do next? Toshiba will ONLY send the laptop back to the current registered owner.

So, here is what you do. If the previous owner registered their laptop with Toshiba,

THEY have to transfer the ownership to you... you can't do that. THEN, you can send it back to Toshiba to have the BIOS password cleared.

THEN Toshiba will send it back, repaired, to you.

You cannot jump the BIOS chip, since the password is not stored there, but rather it is stored in an EPROM chip that does not require electricity.

So you cannot even remove the CMOS battery to clear the password.

You cannot use a special program and a floppy disc, because that Toshiba will not access the floppy disc before it accesses the BIOS... and since you will hit the password first, you can't access that software to try to clear the password

or you might try

My motorola mb200 is dropping signals and sim is not working on it

Hi,
If you are trying to use a SIM card in your phone and getting a message like "Enter Subsidy Code", "Incorrect SIM Card", "SIM not provisioned" or similar messages, then you need an unlock code for your mobile phone. You can get Motorola MB200 Unlock Code from the network provider, they will verify the account holder information, they can open up all networks for you where you want to use your phone. Once your phone is unlock, it will work with any networks worldwide without sticking to one network. You can check Motorola Unlock Code site, they will provide you an accurate code fast for the lowest price with easy to follow instructions on how to unlock your phone.

Hope this is helpful.

Thanks.

I dont have a laptop or the same computer but I have the same problem. However my problem is even more painful as my computer wont frickin recognize my keyboard. So I cant enter BIOS or boot the Windows...

You're not using a wireless keyboard that could have a "dead" battery inside????

Check that the keyboards (PS/2 and USB) work in some other desktop computer.

Disconnect the disk-drive's "data" cable.

Hold down any key on the keyboard, and then turn your computer on, hoping to generate a "keyboard error; press any key to enter BIOS setup" message.
Now, does the keyboard work?

Insert the Windows CD-ROM.
Startup your computer, and it should boot from the CD-ROM (since the disk-drive is not accessible).

Eventually, it will "pause", and ask for keyboard input.

Try each keyboard, and see if either keyboard works.

If not, then your motherboard is the cause of your problems, and needs to be replaced.

Wifi disable

If you can see the available Wifi signals in your area then the wireless is turned on and working fine. you need an encryption key and to configure it or have it auto detect to connect to them.

Unless they are open connections with no encryption/security.

Do you have your own wireless network or are you trying to get on some one elses?

You will need your encryption to get on.

Select you connection from the list, click connect and it should prompt for a key code. enter it and it should do the rest.

Occurrence of a number

the forloop is designed to add or suptract the numbers in the prase. if your outcome is supposed to be that the number is supposed to count the times you enter the number then you are correct. but if not try using a if statement. ex.

for (i=0; i <= num; i++)
cout << i;

if (num == 5)
cout << num;
else
cout << " number entered is wrong";
