TV won't turn on Sylvania LC320SL8 - 32'' LCD HDTV
The tv in question was not used for a few weeks. When I tried to turn it on the green light blinks a few times and then goes back to red. Which is how it sits on stand by or its off position. The last time it was used it was fine, and nothing we can figure out happened, ???

Funai used lousy wire going from the inverter board to the backlight
tubes. Look for any wires that are touching each other. The
insulation could have broke down between them and started arching. Get
some heatshrink tubing to recover the damaged wires.
I was having this same problem with this same model. I would turn it on, the green light would blink a few times, then it would go into standby. After repeating this 10-15 times it would finally turn on. I called customer service and they said to try resetting the TV by unplugging it for 30 minutes. If that didn't work, they said to call a service center to see if they could figure it out.
Well I unplugged it for 30 minutes, plugged it in, turned it on and Whalla! It works! I am so glad it wasn't something else.
Did anyone find out the solution for this??????? I have the exact same problem with my LG 32 LCD. I only had it for a year and a half, and the green light blinks a few times and it shows no picture. Not even a red light when the tv is off. The same thing happened a couple weeks ago and by some miracle it started working again.
