Question about Sharp AR-5316 Advanced Digital Imager Copier
We recently purchased a Sharp xe-a41s model due to the fact that our cash register died, and this was the best model available at the store the morning the issue occurred. Is there any way to get a bar code scanner to attach via the usb port? Just curious if the electronics within the model have the capability, even though an rs232 port is not available. I was thinking that maybe access could be achieved via the usb port that is available. or maybe I could somehow modify it myself. :-)
A lot of times with Sharp products, the capability can be there but the software might have to be enabled to do it.
contact www.sharp-usa.com to find out if that do able on that particular model.
