Desktops don't have a button for a wireless function and most desktops don't have wireless at all unless you specifically add it after your purchase.

Thanks and please take a moment to rate as fixya.

And why the bad rating? You asked a question, I told you the answer. Your question was where on a desktop is the wireless function button and the answer is there is none on a desktop, yet you gave me a bad rating? Please come back and re-rate. Thanks.

Again, you asked a question about a desktop computer. So you made a mistake and meant laptop as I see you posted somewhere else and gave them a good rating. But you gave me a bad rating because you made a mistake and said desktop of which I answered your question. These ratings are important to us; please come back and rerate this. Thank you.

How do i turn on the wirelless antena on a aspire one D260?

Check whether there is a wireless button just below the edge of the computer.
If its not there, Check on the function keys(F1 to F12) whether u see a wireless icon like an antenna or a satellite.
If u get that, hold down the Fn key and press that function key.
Now your wireless will be activated.

My mouse work but not my wireless keyboard

Hi, 3 items top choose from ...
1) There is a sync button at the base of the wireless keyboard and the wireless receiver. Press the button on the wireless receiver and then on the wireless keyboard. They should now sync. and your keyboard should then function.
2) Most likely that the drivers for the keyboard may have been updated when your pc does windows update. You may need to re-install the drivers for the wireless keyboard
3) reboot computer.
Good luck .. hope this helps.......

How to enable wireless connection . Wireless reciver is working network connection was working over wireless . It appears that reciever is switched off but I cannot find how to turn it on

Is this a desktop or a laptop?

If it's a laptop, most laptops have an on/off switch for the wireless. Depending on the brand and model, it could be in one of several places.

So, not knowing which model you have, let me recommend that you look for an icon that looks like a radio antenna. The icon should be on one of the keyboard buttons.

If the icon is on a Function key (F1, F2, etc), then all you need to do is press <Fn> and the function button with the icon. Press them both at the same time.
Then, your wireless should be on.

Please let me know if you need further assistance.

Wireless connection problem, I have a gateway T1631 laptop. I cant see any network within the range even though I place d next to the router, but I can connect to the internet through the ethernet drive.

I have seen this issue alot of times. Please make sure you wireless card is turned on. Sometimes the switch is on the front or the sides or you may have to push a function button + a wireless button. Take a look at you owners manual to be sure

Wireless switch

Make sure you have the latest drivers, router and NB.

Does it connect on reboot with the SSID off?

Does it work on repair?

if so, check your energy settings, some times they power down the wireless to save energy. There are also settings on how it behaves.
