Problem for Toshiba Qosmio G15 (PQG10U00Y00L) PC Notebook
Freezing problem

Hi Qosmio G15 keeps freezing. The only way to reboot it is to hold down the power button to turn it off and then turn it back on. Right after it freezes (maybe 3-5 seconds later) the fan gets really loud.

- the laptop is freezing and their is problem with the DNS because it always shows dns error or server not found but after a short while it will display the website and still short off again. please this is really slowing down the system and i dont know what to do.- gemmajudy

check for vent blockages, hoover around area.
try starting up in safe mode (F8 on start up) and see if it crashes, incase this is a driver issue and a process of elimination is required.
If it does not crash then a driver issue is a definate.
If it still crashes then a processor overheating is the problem

if any new device has been install it is possible that you have not installed the right drivers thereby crashing the system system when the driver is loaded.
or
there is a mechanical problem with the fan not revolving at the right speed. this delay in rotation can cause overheating causing the system to crash.

Hello, try taking out the smaller Drive. Then follow these instructions once you reboot. If you can, go to F8 safe mode.
Then click on start --> Run.
Type CMD, the hit enter key.
In the black popup window MSDOS type: ipconfig /flushdns
There is a space between the g and /.
