SOURCE: Acer Aspire M5640 came with Vista but want to go
I would suggest going with XP Pro first off but what you need to do is get into your bios and change the boot priority to the cdrive as the first device then harddrive as second. Put your XP disc in and reboot the computer after a few moments you should see press any key to install ...... this will start you off with the install from here on follow onscreen instructions.
Onsce at windows desktop you will need to get a ton of drivers and this is were the fun comes in. Use support.intel.com for all intel devices inside the system. After that you will have to goto your device manager and see what still needs to be installed. Now you will have to hunt down the manufacures websites and go to there support page and get needed drivers.

Not sure there is a way to 'reset' the modules, but you can remove them one by one to see if one is bad.
Just flip the hinges on each side of the memory stick and the module should pop out. I would remove one by one then startup the computer and see if that's the problem
SOURCE: coprocessor driver for windows 7
Hi,
Try letting Windows update detect and install the coprocessor driver for you.
You may have to perform the Windows update a couple of times before the device is detected.
When you start windows update it will give you a list of software and drivers that are available, you will in the list that there are optional updates available. Check there to see if the coprocessor driver is there and install everything except for the language packs.
Hopefully this will resolve the problem for you.
Good luck.

Type "device manager" in your Windows search area
See if any of your devices there have a yellow triangle which would indicate a driver or other error
If you click on any device listed there, you can right click on it select "properties" which will allow you to do multiple tasks:
See if the device is working properly
See if you need to update drivers
Scan for hardware changes, etc.
Hopefully this can get you pointed in the right direction. Usually you just need new drivers if a RAID controller has problems.
Hope this helps.

The video hardware is heating up and triggering a thermal sensor, or it's failing due to excessive heat. You might try running air conditioning when you want to play the game that freezes the computer.
