Screen doesnt turn on

I have a jenson indash and the screen doesnt turn on but it still plays cds and the screen doesnt fold in any more? any ideas

everything was working for about a minute then, the head unit turned
itself off and wont come back on, after I turn the key off then on, the
red power button comes on, but wont bring the screen up, so I turned it
off then on again, now the red light blinks then nothing, this is
really starting to get on my nerves, I know I have all wires hooked up
right 12V red, 12V yellow(mem) and ground are all right and the ebrake
is bypassed too. whats up????

Try selecting the dvd or tv modes ... if that doesn't help , reset the system and start all over.

It probably has a bad flexible cable. It needs to be sent to pioneer to be repaired.

I bought a indash screen for my Scion Tc and I cant bypass the parking brake switch because my remote doesnt work. I want to just connect the wire but i dont know where to connnect it. Any Ideas?

you need to ground it (hook it directly to the frame)

I finally found the manual for the indash unit and utilized the reset, which fixed the changer connected to it.

I have a jenson indash dvd player is there a way

most of the times this is solved by putting together the pink wire with the black ground wire and then to your chassis. some newer models require this to be done three times (stepping on the brakes three times before you get a signal). you can use a switch between this connection and turning it on and off three times to get the signal. you will have to repeat this everytime you turn off the unit.
