Printing keeps printing jibberish without a print job

Easiest cause of that problem is printing with wrong driver. If IP's have changed you may be printing with an HP driver or some other brand. If it's not that easy then you may have to clear out everything from memory, which means emptying out several files that are on the OfficeBridge compact card inside. That requires a card reader attached to a PC or laptop. We've never done this without being on the phone with Muratec, making sure we didn't delete the wrong directories from the OB structure. How did it start or happen? Was there a series of lockups? Partially-printed faxes?

How do i delete memory

Hi
On the control/operator panel press and hold the <ON/OFF> button for one second.[Unplug machine if it doesn't shut off after pressing the <ON/OFF> button].
Wait like 10seconds and press the ON/OFF button again.
The machine starts cycling.
Wait until it finishes and then try printing.

Good luck.

Printer keeps printing same document so i can not delete it

You have to erase it from it's memory. If you have already tried to cancel it via your pc and it didn't work, try this: turn off the printer. Entirely, from the wall socket. Turn off your computer. Then turn them on again. Both the computer and your printer should erase the document from their memory, so it will stop the printing.

Canon MX310 In use/memory light flashing, nothing in memory and unit not in use. Powered down and re powered still the same.

Have you tried to purge the memory? To delete the files in memory:

(I found this at: http://safemanuals.com/annexe_MX310%20series%20Easy%20Setup%20Instructions_CANON_PIXMA%20MX310-_E.htm
)

Printing or Deleting a Document in Memory
1
Press the FAX button, then press the Menu button.
2 Press the [ or ] button to select MEMORY REFERENCE.
3 Press the OK button.

If you'd like to print from memory (I think you already know how,but just in case):

Printing a List of Documents in Memory
The machine can print a list of documents stored in memory (the memory list) showing the
transaction number (TX/RX NO.), transaction mode, recipient, number of pages, date, and
transmission time of each document. When printing or deleting documents in memory, specify a
document by its transaction number.
1 Press the FAX button, then press the Menu button.
2 Press the [ or ] button to select MEMORY REFERENCE.
3 Press the OK button two times.
The memory list is printed.

Hope this helps!

In use/memory light

You can delete docs held in memory by going to Menu, View docs in memory, scroll down to delete. This makes the light turn off. My fax stopped taking faxes while I was away because this memory held too many docs and my ink was low. Very inconvenient.
