Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Error code no.1 sorry for the convience message getting how to solve

Try this following steps :

1. Clear your cookies and temporary internet files (AKA cache), exit from the browser, then restart the browser. Delete all history of your internet browser too.

2. If you are a home user and do not pay for a static IP address, get a different dynamic IP address. If you are an office user, try someone else's PC which will have a different IP address.

3. Log into Yahoo through a different country's server. I.e. if you usually log into Yahoo via http://login.yahoo.com/ or http://mail.yahoo.com/

4. Use a different browser. Use Firefox (free download from mozilla.com) if you normally use IE or Safari.

6. If you have a web accelerator (mostly an affliction of dial-up users) then try turning it off.

7. If you use a proxy server (mostly a corporate user thing) then try turning it off.

Hope this help and if helpful RATE please.

What is (mail.yimg.com)?

mail.yimg.com has six IP numbers. All of them are on the same IP network. This hostname cnames to geoycs-l.gy1.b.yahoodns.net. e.yimg.com, l.yimg.com, us.yimg.com, ep.yimg.com, xa.yimg.com and at least 16 other hosts point to the same IP. yimg.com is a domain controlled by five nameservers at yahoo.com. All of them are on different IP networks. yimg.com has two IP numbers. They are on different IP networks. mail.yimg.com is hosted on six servers in United States. It is blacklisted in one list.

When I surfed to it, it came up with a blank page. Apparently it is black listed. I hope this helps you understand. It apparently is a mail server for yimg.com. Whoever yimg.com is.

When 1 open my yahoo mail. error 999 poped up.

Error 999 IS a Ban ... a censor tool, used by Yahoo

Help-link:- (( http://www.murraymoffatt.com/software-pr... )

You can do a few things if you are impatient ( re cleanup computer, dump temp files etc) but this will not help error 999 the best option if you have a dynamic IP is to do a full "flick of the switch", and when you power back up you will come back with a new IP, ( with some turn off comp for 8 hours), but usually you get a new IP when you power up straight after the shutdown, you can continue posting the link under the new IP.

Best quick fix >>>> login to your Yahoo! mail via an international server...http://world.yahoo.com/ and access your mail / ya / 360 /games from there by clicking the mail icon, stay within that browser. That, is the best temp fix for the system

Also reply to Yahoo using the link they give you in that Error 999 page. I did it once or twice and I was free from the Error. It has been said that answering, voting too quickly may cause that Error. So give some gap of 2-3 mins between any two Questions you answer.
