It sounds like you have a faulty pressure switch. It is located in the top control panel. Sometimes, you can tap them and they will work (until they stick again.)

Siemens lady 130 dishwasher overfilling at start of wash cycle

There is a float at the bottom of the washer. See if it is stuck. It should move up and down freely. This activates the water shutoff when it reaches the proper level. If it is sticking it could allow the washer to overfill . If that is not the problem then I would look at the valve it activates itself.

Kenmore elite washer model 21082000, won't

The FL error code means:
Flood Condition:
FL flashes if any overfill condition occurs. This condition occurs when excessive water in the tub causes the overfill switch to trip. The control must realize that the trip was due to an overfill condition instead of a suds lack condition in order for FL to be displayed

With an overfill condition, the beeper repeats a warning every 10 seconds with no time-out. The pump is cycled in drain mode for 30 seconds on, 30 seconds off until the overfill switch resets or power is discontinued to the unit.

Press STOP/CANCEL to clear the display.

This problem I see on these are the water pumps getting clogged with lint or other things, causing the pump not to pump all of the water out at times.

There is a check "valve" in the drain assembly that seems to sometimes cause problems with the FL error code. You can remove this piece, and might avoid changing the pump.

Fl code on kenmore calypso cannot clear

this is the fl code on a whirlpool calypso which is probably the same since kenmore is just a name,, whirlpool built the machine if u didnt know kenmore doesnt build anything they just put their name on things... Cold water intake will not allow water to pass, does it have a flood safe cut off somewhere? How do I re set it?

Turn the water off going to the unit and turn the unit on with the water still off, then as the machine "starts " turn the water on very slowly, if you have no shutoff at the machine you will have to shut a main off. Just remember to turn on the water very slowly so it wont trip auto shutoff if it has it.

Kenmore ref. water dispenser lock turns on itself & beeps

Behind the dispenser housing in the door is a small control board. It is messed up....could be from water getting on it or a voltage spike during a storm....but that is what controls your dispenser.

Washer will overfill on small load and large

If this happens only on small load cycle , then it can be a faulty timer board.

however check also the water level switch, when there is overfilling this part is always the first suspect.
