Question about Canon Office Equipment & Supplies
What resolution are you scanning with? It's not a machine issue, it's a software issue. Have you tried scanning at different resolutions, if so what changes were noticed? I'd love to help you solve this problem, as I am a Canon Tech and see it as a challenge I'm willing to take on. Good Luck.

Check and make sure it's the correct drivers are loaded. Most of the time it is a driver causing the scan lines if all copies and prints are fine.
