Unable to dwnld intnet sites and PC/Device recognition/text prob

I have a CECT P168C, an ifone clone and the instructions I have for MMS, SMS, GPRS, and WAP are not correct. My carrier is AT&T and I am signed up with the MediaMax package and Navigation. I can not send a text or download my navigator software. Also my PC won't recognize the device. Can you help? I have given up on trying to figure it out. JEN

Dear Sir/madam,

I you have manual try to reset the phone. Also reinstall the navigation software. The tri-band phone will not work properly on the AT&T network. Withonly one US band, it is not a phone that will work everywhere thatAT&T has service. With AT&T as your provider, you are much better off buying a realiPhone 3G from AT&T. You won't have to worry about any setups orthe mass amount of issues this clone phone has. If there is anypossible way to return the phone to seller, I would strongly recommendit. Just my opinion, for what it's worth.

Also here is the Youtube video how to navigate the CECT phone with AT & T service. Try that....

Did you get drivers with the phone? if it doesn't work with the drives installed you may have a faulty device.
The settings.. you would need to give AT&T a call about the settings.

I could have a look with remote support about the phone not being recognized. right click on my computer and select manage, go to device manager, its on the left side of the window. Do you see any ! or ? Marks there?

GPRS will not set up!!!

I had the same problem, until i read the I9forum.co.uk and followed the instructions. Goto your providers website and if it's like mine you can get the settings sent to your phone via a sms text message. Goto the phone setup and choose the Nokia 2610 and await the texts. This should correct this problem.

Cheers Mark

My cellphone is reading gprs not subscribed when trying to download multimedia message. I have a ifone cect p168c

what service provider are you using, I can provide you with the proper set up instructions. You must set up the phone to talk to the celluar service you are using example TMOBILE- ATT after I know that I can help More.
The most common cause is that the Data account for the GPRS data profile you are trying to use was never
configured, is configured incorrectly, or the proper GPRS profile was just never "Activated" under the WAP settings after the profile was
created. First go into the Data account services under the GPRS settings & make sure you have set up the correct profile for your
carrier. If it is set up, then edit the profile & make sure all the settings are correct as well as the spelling is correct. Then go into the
WAP Service settings & check to see that you have selected the correct SIM & correct profile, as well as Activated the profile. To
Activate the profile just select the correct profile from the list, and tap on the Activate profile bar. Also edit the profile to make sure
all the settings are exactly correct for your carrier, as well as the correct Data account (GPRS account) was selected for the internet.
