Question about Samsung Phone PDCSLCD12B
I can't figure out how to connect my MOH player to the Samsung DCS Compact. I cannot locate a schematic of the system and find no RCA jack (or any type of jack) to connect to. The system description states that MOH is a standard capability without the need for the MISC-1 or MISC-2 cards.
My previous system was a Samsung Prostar 816+ which had a jack on the side of the KSU.
Does anyone have any experience with the Samsung DCS compact or know how I would obtain a schematic? Samsung no longer offers support info on it's website.
I have a copy of the Prostar DCS Compact manual and have done a little bit of work on the system myself. While I have not hooked up the MOH feature I can tell you what terminals you need to hook up to. The wires you need to attach should be at 37 and 38 on the punch panel, Y-BR and BR-Y respectively. Hook the negative side of the audio line to Y-BR (37) and positive to the other. Let me know if you need the info on programing the MOH. I can look that up too.
Hope this helps.

Sorry I've been out of town and I'm just catching up. I looked at the info I sent to you and eventhough it is under the heading of Compact I think it is for a Prostar. The info is under the DCS heading and is called " DCS Technical Manual August 1995" Pages 186, 187, 197 and 200. I have not given up and I'm looking through my other reference materials but you are right, there are a lot of user and programming guides but no installation guides. I'll keep trying, so do not give up. "Talk" to you soon ....Mitelmike

Tips for a great answer:
Apr 22, 2016 | Samsung Lands Phones
Nov 24, 2015 | Samsung Televison & Video
Feb 12, 2013 | Audio Players & Recorders
First, you must figure out If your TV has component video inputs. This is a set of five cables (red, blue and green for video and red and white for audio) and will give you the best picture on an hdtv
Then, If your TV does not have the component video cables, you will be using the red white and yellow composite yellows the system came with. A very simple connection.
Last, If your TV does have the component video inputs, you will need to buy a set of the Nintendo Wii Component Video cables from Walmart, Target or any other gaming store. These will enable widescreen view and the best picture quality.
To connect your DVD player, you need to located the composite video inputs and s-video. Composite video is a yellow, female RCA jack, normally found next to two audio jacks, one red, the other white. The three jacks together provide an interface for audiovisual connections. The red RCA jack connects the right channel of a stereo system, while the white RCA jack connects the left. The yellow composite video jack rounds out the set.
When playing the Wii, you will need to be on the correct video input "Component"
When playing the DVD, you will be on "Composite/Svideo."
