It commonly has a PF indicator on the display (not sure if the power is going out regulary or not, it is a house I am fixing up so I dont live in it) , when you push the 1 button it comes on automatically, but you cant cancel it. The start and cancel buttons dont work at all. Plus I can't even set the clock. Whats up?

Is it possible that some spray cleaner accidentally got into the controls?
Direct spraying of cleaners on the keypad and steam from the
cooktop can damage the controls.
I always recommend that users spray the cleaner on a soft cloth (not on the keypad itself) then wipe the control panel off.
Also, I always recommend non-ammonia cleaners since ammonia can crack and damage plastic.

SOURCE: Hi. I pressed the 'quickstart'
The
first thing I would suggest is a hard reset. Unplug the unit for a
minute or so. Then plug it back in, set the clock and try again.
If that doesn't work, leave it unplugged for maybe an hour. Then let us know if the hard reset does not fix it.
It may be a problem with a door switch or door switch mount.
SOURCE: My keypad is also dead.
No, but as with all electronic items faulty ones typically show themselves up during the first few months of use.
You've probably just been one of the unlucky ones.
SOURCE: Kenmore microwave - unresponsive keypad
Repaired the unresponsive keypad on my older Kenmore (model 721.68100): Unplug. Remove integral cover for top and sides which is held in place by 5 metal screws. The cover then slides toward the rear. Unplug two connectors to back of keypad and clean them (I used contact spray cleaner). Some of the components retain a charge even when unplugged.
