What is an Adherent suffix

This is not a proper question. Are you asking what suffixes does "Adherent" take, or what suffixes does "Adherent" already have?

I believe the answer to both might be "There aren't any." Adhere is a verb. Adherent is an adjective. If you want to pretend that adding "-nt" to adhere is a suffix, then I suppose it would have the meaning of "takes the form of" or "has the properties of." Adhere means "to stick to." Therefore, "adherent" could be "sticky."

I can't figure out how the two pieces of the window mount fit together. Do you have an illustration of how it assembles?

The arm of the Garmin G-Ball Suction Mount snaps into the back of the cradle.
You can see a picture of it here.

The rear clip for the driver side window broke and bent the regulator arm pretty bad. i took it to the shop and they wanted like 450 to fix it. they said the price was mostly in the parts, but i wanted...

I had a similar problem. Both of my clips broke this past winter when the window froze shut. I bought the clips and recommended adhesive but could never get the window to stay adhered to the clips for very long. I purchased a purchased a new, after-market window on Ebay for $65 dollars and put it in myself. Body shops I talked with will not deal with replacing clips because of the problem with adhesives not holding for more than a week or two. Find you a window that has the clips installed during production. It will save you a lot of headache.

We installed the car cradle to the windshield but receiver won't adhere to the disk. Please tell us what we did wrong. Thanks, Pat skillman

i think you mean the mount wont adhere to the disk..normally the disk is not used to mount the gps to the windshield, is more for the dash area or another spot where the suction cup wont adhere. the are rare occasions where the disk is needed for the windshield though, but its rare. try ataching it to the windshield without the disk. lift lever at suction cup, press the mount firmly against the windshield, then press the locking lever down to secure the mount. the picture below is the wount in the unlocked position.

form Magellan

This adhesive disk provides an alternative to mounting your Magellan GPS to the windshield of your vehicle. The disk adheres firmly to your dashboard or virtually any surface. Then attach the suction cup of your windshield mount to the disk.

There is a black disc but I do not see any instructions for using it.Does it mount on the windshield?

my Magellen came with a black disk with adhesive on 1 side. Intended to be adhered to any smooth surface (e.g., windshield). The mount for my unit includes a suction cup. So, mount black disk to windshield and attach suction cup to smooth side of black disk. Be sure disk is positioned where suction cup and bracket and GPS will have sufficient room to mount everything.

Windshield Mounting Unmounting

first the round plate... that has a sticky circle on the bottom.... you remove the tape and stick it on a surface where you want the gps... then when you want to mount the gps you suction cup it to that disk. now for the suction cup... when it is disengaged the plastic suction cup will be loose. to attach it to the plate or window... you swing the small arm on the base of it up or down... you will see as it will lock the suction... the gps should clip onto the holder so you can leave the holder where it is and remove the gps and slip it into your pocket.

Not the best instructions but you will get the idea

Please take a moment to rate this solution thanks

Garmin Nuvi 760 loses satelite reception. Tried to reset to factory settings and still having problem.

You may need to buy an additional external GPS receiving antenna. I did for my 750.
Because we love our electronics so tiny, they use an internal antenna. The gold input on the back of it, is for an external antenna available for under $20 from ebay. I used it when I lost reception in NYC, and also in rural areas. The external one has q magnet on it, and you can put it on the roof and have the cord come in your window to the unit (better than arm out window!)

check here - where i bought mine

Enjoy, NGK
